Fresno State introduces first women’s water polo coach

U.S. Water Polo Hall of Famer Natalie Benson was introduced Thursday as the first women’s water polo coach in Fresno State history.

Under the direction of university President Joseph Castro and Athletic Director Jim Bartko, Fresno State is adding women’s water polo for the first time to the school’s lineup of intercollegiate sports.

The Bulldogs will begin competing in spring 2018.
