Fresno State got its first baseball win at Cal State Bakersfield since 2010, beating the Roadrunners 9-3 Wednesday night in a nonconference game.

Ten Bulldogs pitchers combined on a three-hitter with starter McCarthy Tatum going his longest career stint (2 2/3 innings) and freshman Kyle Pruhsmeier getting his first career win.

Leadoff hitter Zach Ashford reached base five times and scored three runs, Tatum had four RBIs and JT Arruda hit his third home run of the season.

Fresno State stays on the road for a weekend Mountain West series at San Diego State beginning Friday night.
