Clovis North, Porterville stars win top Len Ross-Fresno City Amateur titles

Clovis North High’s Blake Hathcoat and Porterville’s Misha Vega scored five-stroke victories Thursday in the top level boys and girls divisions of the four-day Len Ross-Fresno City Junior Amateur.

He had shot 69-75-68 at various local courses earlier in the week, finishing with a par 284 in the boys 16-18 division.

Finishing with a 72 at Sunnyside and a 289 for second place was Hanfordsophomore Lane Pulliam, The Bee’s 2015 Player of the Year.
