Quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s name is being linked to more teams as each day of free agency passes. On Thursday, the number of suitors grew to three teams, all in the AFC, league sources told The Bee’s Matt Barrows.

The Denver Broncos, New York Jets and Cleveland Browns have all expressed interest in acquiring the 49ers quarterback.

While San Francisco has said it is willing to keep Kaepernick this season, NFL Network analyst Omar Ruiz says that’s an unlikely scenario.

NFL Network’s Mike Silver says the 49ers and Broncos have been talking and he thinks they are on the same page as to compensation, but the Browns could still “swoop in” and take Kaepernick.
