However, fans may have to deal with unexpected conditions, as the game now faces a possible delay due to bad weather in Philadelphia.

Severe thunderstorms are expected to hit the area on Monday night during the match.

Forecasters are predicting breezy conditions with heavy downpours and lightning, which will eventually transition into steady rain. Because the storms could bring damaging winds and hail, both the match and surrounding festivities may face significant disruption.

Will France vs Iraq Get Delayed?

Currently the match is facing significant delay risks and potential postponement due to the severe weather as extreme thunderstorms, severe lightning, heavy rainfall, and potential isolated tornadoes are forecast around the Philadelphia Stadium per multiple reports.

Another report by The Sun also said that the stadium was evacuated just hours before the match. An announcement made on the PA system said, "Due to incoming weather, take cover in the stadium as directed by stadium staff."

Another subsequent message relayed warned about active lightning strikes in the area.

While the game is scheduled for 5:00 PM local time, storm forecasts span from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM local time, which might even cause repeated mid-game suspensions.

Despite the reports, there is no official announcement on any delays or postponement from FIFA regarding the match.
