Angel Reese Reacts After Making WNBA History Against Indiana Fever
Angel Reese and the Atlanta Dream defeated the Indiana Fever in back-to-back games. After winning 108-101 on Thursday, the Dream blew out Caitlin Clark and company on Sunday, 113-96.
Rhyne Howard and Allisha Gray led the Dream in their latest victory with a combined 46 points. Naz Hillmon added 19, while Reese recorded 18 points, eight rebounds, two steals and one block.
Reese also made history in the process, as she became the fastest player in WNBA history to reach 1,000 rebounds. She did it in just 79 games, breaking the previous record held by Tina Charles who achieved the mark in 89 games.
The Dream shared Reese's achievement on social media, posting a message to celebrate her milestone.
"Anything coming off that board is hers," the Dream wrote. "1000 Career Rebounds and the fastest to ever do it!"

Reese, for her part, was appreciative following her latest achievement. After the game, she re-shared several posts about her feat.
"God, THANK YOU!" the Dream forward wrote in a separate post on X.
On her Instagram story, she also showered her teammates with some love, writing, "literally love my gang."
It's not surprising that Reese is having a lot of fun with the Dream, though. After two years of failing to post a winning season with the Chicago Sky, despite her record-breaking feats, she and Atlanta are thriving and currently boast an 11-4 record.
They remain one of the top three teams in the WNBA and look like legitimate title contenders.
