Who are the Commentators for New Zealand vs Egypt World Cup Match?

The final match of the day is New Zealand vs Egypt at BC Place, Vancouver. Both teams need three points to have a chance at reaching the knockout stages.

The match is crucial for Group G as all teams were tied on one point. Egypt is the favorite against New Zealand due to their star power and their performances against Belgium last week.

For the match today, the commentary team on FS1 will feature former USMNT player Cobi Jones. The USMNT legend played at three World Cups, including the 1994 World Cup, which was held in the United States.

Cobi Jones played 11 World Cup matches and made 164 caps for the USMNT. Jones is now an analyst for MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, but will be with FOX during the World Cup.

The play-by-play announcer will be Mark Scott, who has worked for BBC Match of the Day, Premier League Productions, and the World Feed to cover Champions League, Europa League, and other major international tournaments.

This will be the first 2026 World Cup match that features the commentary duo of Mark Scott and Cobi Jones.
