Germany vs Ivory Coast Player Ratings- Man of the Match, Winners, and Disappointments
The third match of Group E of the 2026 World Cup sees Germany complete a comeback win over the Ivory Coast.
The African team took the lead in the first half, but Denzi Undav, who did not start the match, scored two goals to give Germany three crucial points.
Germany will play in the knockout stages for the first time since 2014, when they won the World Cup in Brazil.
Who Scored for the Ivory Coast?
In the 30th minute, the Ivory Coast took the lead as Franck Kessié scored in the box. Yan Diomande sent a cross to Amad Diallo, who shot towards goal, but it was blocked by Nathanial Brown.
The block made the ball fall to Kessie, and he calmly scored past Neuer to make it 1-0 for the African team.

The winner is Deniz Undav, who changed the game for Germany. Not only did he score a brace to give Germany the win, but he also improved the way Germany attacked and created chances.
