210 fall athletes to watch over 70 days
Levi Torres, Rancho San Juan football: Earning all-league honors as a safety last season in the Santa Lucia Division, Torres will be a leader in the Trailblazers secondary.
A three-year starter, Torres excelled in punt returns as a sophomore in 2024 for Rancho San Juan. That fearless attitude carried over as a safety last season, finishing among the team leaders in tackles.
Elena Neumann, Alisal volleyball: The Trojans top returning hitter at the net, Neumann is a complete player, recording nearly 200 kills last season.
The senior also went over the century mark in digs and finished among the leaders in service aces for the reigning Mission Division Champions.
Jasmine Jin, Carmel cross country: Earning all-league honors in each of her first two seasons for the Padres, Jin was fifth at the Mission Division finals last fall.
The junior shaved 34 seconds off her time from the previous season over three miles, as she looks to dip under 20 minutes at Toro Park.
