Swimsuit Photo Of Tyler Kolek's Girlfriend Causes Stir After Knicks Parade
Tyler Kolek had quite the experience at the New York Knicks' championship parade.
Kolek, who averaged 4.4 points and 2.7 assists per game this season, was briefly stopped by the New York Police Department during Thursday's parade because they thought he was a fan. Footage of this mix-up went viral on social media, much to the dismay of the NYPD.
After the NYPD was informed that Kolek is in fact a member of the Knicks, he went on social media to poke fun at the situation.
"I swear I'm on the team bro," Kolek wrote on the platform formerly known as Twitter.
Kolek's girlfriend, Lexi Sousa, also had fun with this viral moment from the championship parade.
Sousa shared a photo of her and Kolek on Instagram along with the caption: "#Freetyler."
Unsurprisingly, Knicks fans immediately started following Sousa on Instagram after seeing her post with Kolek.
Kolek didn't receive much playing time during the Knicks' postseason run, but he did show signs of development in the regular season.
If the Knicks move on from some of their bench players this offseason, Kolek could receive a larger role for the 2026-27 campaign.
In the meantime, Kolek is going to enjoy his first NBA title in one of the best cities in the world.
