Jeremy Doku is one of the faces of the Belgium national team after an incredible season with Manchester City.

Doku will be playing his seocnd World Cup after making his World Cup debut in 2022. Doku only played one match in the 2022 World Cup and was seen as the future of the national team.

Doku is now an undisputed starter for the Belgium national team and started in Belgium's last two friendly matches before the World Cup. Doku provided two assists in Belgium's 5-0 win over Tunisia last week.

Outside the pitch, Doku recently got married to his partner, Shireen Erin Lyannda Raymond. Doku's wife is six years older than him and is expecting a child soon.

What We Know About Jeremy Doku's Family

Doku's parents are David Doku and Belinda Doku, who are both from Ghana. His parents reportedly immigrated from Ghana to Europe in 1993; both parents were very supportive of Jeremy Doku's aspirations to become a football player.

Jeremy Doku and Shireen Erin Lyannda Raymond have been together for years, and the couple got engaged during a vacation in Dubai.

The couple got married around October 2025, and the couple posted pictures of their wedding cake on an Instagram post with a caption that read, "I have found the one whom my soul loves. Song of Solomon 3:4"

The couple is expecting a baby boy in the next couple of weeks, with Shireen expected to give birth in early to mid-July, around the round-of-16 and quarter-final stages of the 2026 World Cup.

Doku may leave the Belgium squad during the tournament if they go far, as he stated that he wants to be present for the birth of his son.
