New York Knicks Win 2026 NBA Finals: Best Reactions From NYC Celebrities
The celebrations are in full swing in New York after the Knicks ended their 53-year wait for an NBA championship on Saturday night, defeating the San Antonio Spurs 4-1 to capture just the third title in franchise history and their first since 1973.
The Knicks have been on a historic run this season and entered the NBA Finals riding an 11-game winning streak. They took a commanding 2-0 series in San Antonio before dropping Game 3 at home. However, they responded by producing one of the greatest comebacks in NBA Finals history in Game 4 and followed it up with another impressive performance in Game 5 to clinch the series.
Leading the way was Jalen Brunson, who erupted for 45 points in the title-clinching victory and earned NBA Finals MVP honors. But just as important to the atmosphere surrounding the team has been the support from the long list of A-list celebrities who have packed the front rows throughout the postseason.
While Game 5 was not played at Madison Square Garden, the Knicks' celebrity supporters were once again out in force at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio.
Timothée Chalamet, Sydney Sweeney, and More Celebrate Knicks' NBA Championship Win
Timothée Chalamet, a New York native and one of the Knicks' most passionate celebrity fans, was once again in attendance and celebrated the victory on the court with Karl-Anthony Towns, sharing a long embrace after the final buzzer.

Describing his emotions, Chalamet said the moment meant even more to him than winning an Oscar.
"Way rather this than the Oscars, c'mon baby," he said postgame. "Knicks are champions, baby!"
He was not the only celebrity celebrating at the Frost Bank Center. Prince Harry, Ben Stiller, Tracy Morgan, Sydney Sweeney, Scooter Braun, David Duchovny, Spike Lee, John Turturro, and Giancarlo Esposito were all spotted taking in the historic moment.

Taylor Swift and her fiancé, Travis Kelce, meanwhile, remained in New York after attending the nail-biting Game 4 victory at Madison Square Garden. The pop superstar was seen celebrating alongside her friend Mariska Hargitay, who described the Game 4 victory as one of the greatest nights of her life.
After receiving the Larry O'Brien Trophy, the Knicks have made plans to return to New York. With thousands of fans gathered outside Madison Square Garden, the biggest celebrations may still be yet to come.
