Rams Deemed the ‘Most Fun' Team to Watch This Season

The Los Angeles Rams are hungry for another Super Bowl, and they’ve been making big changes to get there. They already have MVP-winning quarterback Matthew Stafford and an A-list offense and defense, but no team is perfect, so the changes they’ve made during the offseason are bound to make them even stronger in September. They’ll be hard to beat. Really hard.

So, why do people like watching football? Because it’s fun. That’s the idea behind Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz of USA Today’s feature about the teams that are likely to be the most fun and entertaining to watch next season. “Summer is meant to be a time of fun, so let’s assess each franchise on how amusing each team might be in the fall,” he says, adding that he realizes there’s “no universal standard for football aesthetics,” so this is purely, well, for fun.

He puts the Rams at No. 1 on the tally.

“Sean McVay last year managed to make heavy tight-end usage cool. What’s next for the NFL‘s ultimate trendsetter?” he asks in the piece. “With NFL MVP Matthew Stafford’s return keeping the core of last year’s No. 1 scoring attack intact, Los Angeles should be as dynamic as ever on offense.”

He also says that the “real draw” could be a “defense that added single-season sack king Myles Garrett and vaunted cornerbacks Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson, thereby radically shifting the unit’s outlook at its two weakest spots.”

He adds: “Garrett’s utilization is sure to be fascinating, especially given the extent to which other teams will go to mitigate his game-wrecking potential. But he won’t be so easily avoided, especially when the Rams operate with a lead.”

Garrett being with the Rams is certainly going to be fascinating to watch. It was one of the biggest moves of the offseason and that alone makes this team one of the most entertaining for 2026.
