Is Taylor Swift Wedding Distracting Chiefs' Travis Kelce? Andy Reid Weighs in

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is a little under a month away from getting married to his uber-famous fiancée Taylor Swift.

The couple are reportedly set to marry on July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York City in an event that's estimated to set them back a cool $20 million.

But with such a major personal milestone coming up, many have wondered if the wedding planning has affected Kelce's performance during Chiefs' OTAs and mandatory minicamp.

Well, head coach Andy Reid put everyone's minds at ease on Thursday when he discussed what he's seen from Kelce over the last few weeks as he inches closer to his wedding day.

"Can't talk about it," Reid joked, acknowledging that guests of the Kelce-Swift wedding have signed non-disclosure agreements prohibiting them from divulging any details about the event.

"He's been here most of the offseason - if not the whole offseason - [so] he's been around," Reid stated. "It's good to have him here. He did the mandatory camp and did a nice job there, so it's good to have him back in and rolling. He's very excited. You see no distractions with [him] and the wedding."

Reid also quipped that when he got married he just followed his wife's lead, so it's safe to assume Kelce is doing the same thing.

Kelce hasn't missed any part of OTAs or minicamp, and with the wedding scheduled weeks before training camp starts in late July, it's clear he and Swift were careful to plan their wedding around key dates of the Chiefs' offseason.

It's also been reported that Kelce and Swift won't embark on their honeymoon right away, instead electing to take a multi-week overseas trip later in the year with stops in Asia, the Bahamas, the Caribbean, Italy, and Paris.
