Final Injury Report for Liberty-Sun: Will Sabrina Ionescu, Brittney Griner Play?
The New York Liberty are on the road Monday night as they travel to take on the Connecticut Sun in an Eastern Conference matchup as part of the WNBA Commissioner's Cup.
New York enters Monday's game with a 7-4 record after defeating the Indiana Fever at home Saturday night.
In Saturday's victory over the Fever, Breanna Stewart led the way for the Liberty as she recorded 30 points, eight rebounds and four steals while Pauline Astier added 12 points, three rebounds and three assists of her own.
The Liberty will try to grab another victory and extend their winning streak to five games Monday as they face off against a struggling Sun team on the road.
Connecticut enters Monday's contest with a 2-10 record after losing on the road to the Chicago Sky Friday night.
Brittney Griner led the way for the Sun in Friday's loss as she ended the game with 16 points, eight rebounds, five assists and three blocks while Diamond Miller recorded 16 points, three rebounds and three assists.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Monday night's matchup, each may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
Liberty Injury Report: Will Sabrina Ionescu Play?
The Liberty have only one player listed on their injury report for Monday as they have ruled out star guard Sabrina Ionescu.
Sabrina Ionescu won't make the trip to Connecticut with the team and is ruled out for tomorrow's game.

New York has ruled out Ionescu due to back soreness as she will miss her sixth consecutive contest after she did not travel with the team to Connecticut.
Sun Injury Report: Will Brittney Griner, Aaliyah Edwards Play?
The Sun have two players listed on their injury report for Monday's matchup, including Griner.
Connecticut has ruled out Griner due to a left rib strain as she will miss her seventh game of the season and her first since May 27.

The Sun have listed Kennedy Burke as questionable due to an illness and she is in danger of missing her second consecutive contest.
The good news for the Sun is that Aaliyah Edwards is off the injury report and will return from a three-game absence due to a concussion Monday against the Liberty.
