Canada vs Uzbekistan Lineups, Score, Live Streaming, How and Where to Watch on TV

Canada continue their preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup when they host Uzbekistan in an international friendly on June 1.

The Canadians come into the match in good form and are unbeaten in their last six competitive fixtures.

Les Rouges will also gain confidence from the fact that they beat Uzbekistan the only time the two countries faced each other. The sides met in a friendly in Austria in 2016, when a late own goal helped Canada secure a 2-1 victory.

Canada will be one of the host nations at the 2026 FIFA World Cup and have been drawn into Group B alongside Bosnia and Herzegovina, Qatar, and Switzerland.

With the tournament now just weeks away, head coach Jesse Marsch will use these matches to continue building his squad and maintain momentum ahead of the competition.

Meanwhile, Uzbekistan arrive with plenty of excitement of their own. The White Wolves will make history this summer by appearing at the FIFA World Cup for the first time, becoming the first Central Asian nation to qualify for the tournament.

The team is currently led by Italian legend Fabio Cannavaro, who has made a positive influence since taking charge.

Uzbekistan are unbeaten in their last three international matches away from home. However, they have won only one of their last four away internationals, a 1-0 victory over North Korea in 2024.

At the World Cup, Uzbekistan have been placed in Group K alongside Colombia, Portugal, and DR Congo.
