ESPN Declares Mina Kimes Has 'Won' The NFL Offseason

Who are the biggest winners of the 2026 NFL offseason?

The New York Giants have an argument, after landing former Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh. The Cincinnati Bengals made a big move, too, trading for standout defensive lineman Dexter Lawrence. The Cowboys, after drafting Caleb Downs and holding onto George Pickens, look strong as well.

But ESPN has a different winner in mind.

ESPN spokesman Bill Hofheimer declared NFL analyst Mina Kimes as the "winner" of the 2026 NFL offseason. He's got a pretty strong argument, too. Kimes has racked up the accolades and accomplishments during the offseason.

Over the past month or so, Kimes has:

  • Won a $1 million charity prize from Celebrity Jeopardy!
  • Won a Sports Emmy for her role in NFL Live
  • Taken over as the host of the Scripps National Spelling Bee

Kimes continues to impress on and off TV

NFL fans are big supporters of Kimes and what she does.

"What people don't see is that behind every ‘overnight success' are months of consistency, doubt, and silence. Mina didn't win the offseason by luck she built momentum long before anyone started noticing," one fan wrote.

"Mina is killing it! Way to go, girl!" one fan added.

"She's my favorite. Love to see it, Mina," one fan added.

ESPN NFL host Laura Rutledge added some praise of her own, too.

Kimes, who has become one of the most-successful NFL analysts on television, is gearing up for the 2026 regular season, which will be here before you know it.

Until then, though, she can enjoy everything that she has already accomplished this offseason.
