Report: 23XI Racing Employee Evanna Howell Has Been Suspended

NASCAR announced this week that 23XI Racing employee Evanna Howell has been suspended indefinitely.

Howell was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon leading to serious injury. The police report for her case states that she intentionally hit a 77-year-old man with a golf cart at Charlotte Motor Speedway. She posted a $125,000 bond and is due in court on June 16.

According to Howell's LinkedIn page, she's listed as a senior account manager for 23XI Racing.

It's unclear if Howell will be allowed to resume her duties with 23XI Racing at this time.

It's been a good year for 23XI Racing.

23XI Racing's Tyler Reddick has been outstanding this season, leading the Cup Series in points (620) by a significant margin. He already has five wins and nine top-five finishes this year.

Bubba Wallace, meanwhile, is 13th in the Cup Series standings. He's hoping to sneak into the top 10 fairly soon.

The Cup Series will resume this Sunday at Nashville Superspeedway.
