Padres minors: Ty Harvey back on Storm's injured list; Ethan Salas hits seventh homer
Ty Harvey's first full professional season is again on hold.
The 19-year-old catcher is back on low Single-A Lake Elsinore's injured list with a fracture of the fifth metacarpal bone in his left hand. He'll miss about six to eight weeks.
Harvey sustained the injury on Saturday when a hitter swung and hit the back of Harvey's glove.
It is the second injured list stint this year for Harvey, who had already missed nearly a month with a hamstring strain.
Harvey was hitting .338/.449/.431 with 13 walks, 18 strikeouts and nine RBIs through 21 games. He was 5-for-6 in stolen-base attempts.
Harvey is ranked No. 6 among Padres prospects, according to MLB.com. He signed for $1.5 million as the Padres' fifth-round pick last summer.

HIGH SINGLE-A FORT WAYNE (22-24)
South Bend 5, TinCaps 2: LF Jake Cunningham (1.003 OPS) homered twice, giving him nine on the season. 1B Lamar King Jr. (.748 OPS) went 2-for-4 with a double. RHP Matthew Watson (0-3, 3.70 ERA) allowed four runs - three earned - in five innings in the loss.
LOW SINGLE-A LAKE ELSINORE (26-20)
Storm 7, Inland Empire 6: Called up from rookie ball, 2B Yimy Tovar (.800 OPS) went 2-for-5 with two RBIs CF Ryan Wideman (.866 OPS) went 3-for-5 with his fourth homer and two RBIs. SS Jorge Quintana (.617 OPS) went 2-for-5 with a double and a walk-off single.
ROOKIE ACL PADRES (9-9)
Padres 10, White Sox 1 (7): RHP Erick Batista (1-0, 7.36 ERA) struck out five and allowed a run in three innings in relief in the win. C Brendan Durfee (.967 OPS) hit his second homer. CF Moises Valdez (.893 OPS) went 3-for-4 with two doubles. DH Blake Hunt (.829 OPS) went 1-for-1 with four walks. 2B Luis De Leon (.733 OPS) went 1-for-3 with a triple, an RBI and a walk.
