President Trump Makes History With His New Approval Rating
As President Trump continues to hit the golf course with record-setting totals, the 79-year-old's approval rating has reportedly made history.
According to a new New York Times/Siena College poll, the President of the United States' disapproval rating has made history.
President Trump's disapproval rating has surged to close to 60 percent - a record-high mark for this leader of the free world. President Trump's disapproval rating is at 59 percent, per the poll.
Those responding to the poll have voiced their frustration with the economy, inflation and the broader direction of the country, according to the poll.
It's a high mark for Trump (or a low one, in reality).
"In that sample, a total of 59 percent of voters said they disapproved of Trump's job performance, compared with 37 percent who approved, a net approval of minus 22 points," the report states.
"The survey of 1,507 registered voters was conducted between May 11 and May 15 using live telephone interviews in English and Spanish. It carries a margin of error of plus or minus 2.8 percentage points."
President Trump continues to play a lot of golf
President Trump reportedly skipped a White House event for a round of golf over the weekend. His golf habit remains a controversial one.
"Donald Trump has golfed 111 days out of 485 days since returning to office (22.9% of the presidency spent golfing)," Trump's golf tracker reads.
"Est. cost to taxpayers for golf since returning to office: $155,400,000."
