Newport Harbor and Huntington Beach get rematch in regional volleyball playoffs

Newport Harbor and Huntington Beach will play for the fourth time this season Tuesday in the first round of the CIF Southern California Regional boys volleyball playoffs.

Huntington Beach (23-5) will be the home team against Newport Harbor (24-10) in the Division I contest.

Corona del Mar (26-6) is at Redondo Union (27-4) on Tuesday in Division I.

Sunny Hills (23-14) is at Francis Parker (28-10) in San Diego in Division II on Tuesday.

Orange Lutheran (25-10) is home against Eastside (17-20) in Division II on Tuesday.

Edison (21-14) is at Bishop Diego (28-8) in Santa Barbara on Tuesday in Division 3.

All regional matches start at 6 p.m. and are played at home team sites.

The regional semifinals are Thursday and the finals on Saturday. The first CIF State Championships boys volleyball are May 30 at Fresno City College in Fresno.

Admission to the first round and semifinals is $9 for adults and $5 for students and children. Admission to the regional final and state finals is $12 and $8.
