These Are the 10 Best Quarterback Seasons in Fantasy Football History

Quarterback scoring has changed with the rise of modern dual-threat stars and the game's pass-happy evolution, but the all-time board still includes a few massive pure-passing seasons. Here are the 10 biggest fantasy totals ever recorded by a quarterback in a single season.

The Top 10 Quarterback Fantasy Seasons Ever

10) Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints (2011): 405.6 points

Brees cracks the top 10 with one of the best pocket-passing fantasy seasons ever. He threw for 5,476 yards and 46 touchdowns.

9) Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills (2020): 406.1 points

Allen's 2020 leap as a passer pushed him into the all-time mix. He finished with 4,544 passing yards and 37 touchdown passes, then added enough rushing value to clear 400 fantasy points.

8) Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills (2022): 409.5 points

Allen followed that with another monster year in 2022. He threw for 4,283 yards and 35 touchdowns in 16 games, and his rushing production kept the season above several bigger pure-passing lines.

7) Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills (2023): 410.6 points

Three-peating, this version of Allen was not as clean from a real-life efficiency standpoint, but fantasy managers cared more about the total output. He still cleared 4,300 passing yards on his way to eclipsing 410 fantasy points.

6) Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills (2021): 417.6 points

Four straight appearances?!? Allen's best fantasy season came in 2021. He threw for 4,407 yards and 36 touchdowns, then paired that with enough rushing production to land just outside the top five.

5) Peyton Manning, Denver Broncos (2013): 420.0 points

Manning owns the highest pure-passing season on this list. His 5,477 yards and 55 touchdown passes remain one of the most overwhelming passing stat lines in NFL history.

4) Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens (2019): 421.7 points

The ever-dangerous Jackson needed only 15 games to post the fourth-highest QB fantasy season ever. He threw 36 touchdown passes as a sophomore and added the all-time quarterback record of 1,206 rushing yards.

3) Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs (2018): 429.1 points

Mahomes' first season as a starter produced 5,097 passing yards and 50 touchdowns. That total still stands as one of the most explosive fantasy seasons the position has seen.

2) Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs (2022): 429.4 points

To secure the second spot, Mahomes barely topped his 2018 season with a 5,250-yard, 41-touchdown line across 17 games. Even with four rushing scores, his touchdown count was lower, but the extra aerial volume pushed the fantasy total slightly higher.

1) Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens (2024): 434.4 points

Jackson narrowly holds the all-time record with his second appearance on this list. He threw for 4,172 yards and 41 touchdowns, then combined that with his usual rushing production (139-915-4) to finish with the highest fantasy total ever by a quarterback.
