Titans to Host Future Super Bowl in New $2 Billion Stadium: Report

When the Tennessee Titans announced the construction of their new $2.2 billion state-of-the-art stadium in downtown Nashville years ago, they weren't shy about their desire to host a Super Bowl being a driving force behind it.

"We've reached out to the NFL and said we want to bid on a Super Bowl, and we'll do that. We have started outreach about the College Football Playoffs and other things we can do with the SEC," Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp CEO Butch Spyridon told the Nashville Post back in 2022.

Few cities throw parties like Nashville does, and with the success of high-profile events like the 2022 NHL Stadium Series, the 2019 NFL draft, the 2017 Stanley Cup Final, the 2016 NHL All-Star Game and the 2003 NHL draft, it's no surprise the NFL would want to host its biggest event of the year in the city.

And that's exactly what they'll do, according to Dan Patrick.

"The 2030 Super Bowl, I was informed by a source on Saturday, that it is signed and ready to go that Nashville is getting the 2030 Super Bowl," Patrick stated on his "Dan Patrick Show" on Monday.

"I haven't seen any reports on this, and if there is a report on it, I'll acknowledge that, but this is what I was told on Saturday. Nashville is getting the 2030 Super Bowl, Vegas is getting the 2029 Super Bowl, 2027 Los Angeles, and it's Atlanta in 2028."

The new 60,000-square-foot Nissan Stadium is approximately 75% completed, per the Nashville Post, and scheduled for a February 2027 grand opening.

The 2030 Super Bowl would be the second major event (as of now) hosted at new Nissan Stadium, joining WWE WrestleMania 43, which will be held at the stadium in April 2027.
