NASCAR at Kansas Results: Finish Order, Winner, and Key Takeaways

Tyler Reddick won today's NASCARCup Series AdventHealth 400 at Kansas Speedway. Denny Hamlin was the ultimate bad-luck driver, enduring a caution with two to go due to a Cody Ware spin. The cars would restart, Kyle Larson would surge up front, but only to be caught by Reddick. Both Hamlin and Chase Briscoe surged late, but did not have enough time.

A last-lap spin by Christopher Bell put him out of the green-white-checkered contention. In turn, his erratic racing seemed to harm Hamlin's chances in tandem with Reddick, bringing his owner wheel-to-wheel.

Tyler Reddick won his 5th race of the 9-race 2026 season. The Toyotas are inevitable, having won 7 of the 9 races this year. Reddick appeared to lose fuel with 3 laps to go, but fired back off and was saved by a caution. He won in overtime.

Denny Hamlin had the best car of the day, undoubtedly. Unfortunately, flashbacks to the fall race at Phoenix occurred when a caution came just before the white flag. Hamlin finished in 4th place.

Worst Performances of the Day

Kyle Buschhit the headlines this weekend, unhappy with comments from Denny Hamlin's podcast. Those comments speculated on why Busch is performing so poorly. He did not help his case, as Busch finished the race in 34th place.

Joey Logano had a very bad weekend, starting 15th and finishing 30th. Team Penske struggles big in 2025 outside of Ryan Blaney.
