7 Teams Have Now Traded First-Round Picks In 2026 NFL Draft

On Saturday the New York Giants and Cincinnati Bengals made a blockbuster deal that will turn just about every mock draft on its head before the 2026 NFL Draft.

The Giants traded Pro Bowl defensive lineman Dexter Lawrence to the Cincinnati Bengals in exchange for the No. 10 overall pick. The deal gives the Giants two top-10 picks in the first round of the draft, the first time they've had that since 2022.

The trade also brings the total of pre-draft trades involving first-round picks to seven. Some are the results of trades in the 2025 NFL Draft, while others were part of blockbuster deals involving players.

The Trades

Here are the trades that have occurred so far:

  • No. 10 overall: Cincinnati Bengals to New York Giants - Giants received pick in exchange for DL Dexter Lawrence
  • No. 13 overall: Atlanta Falcons to Los Angeles Rams - Rams received pick along with 2025 second- and seventh-round selections in exchange for Falcons' 2025 first- and third-round selections
  • No. 16 overall: Indianapolis Colts to New York Jets - Jets received pick along with a 2027 first-round selection and WR Adonai Mitchell in exchange for CB Sauce Gardner
  • No. 20 overall: Green Bay Packers to Dallas Cowboys - Cowboys received pick along with a 2027 first-round selection and DT Kenny Clark in exchange for DE Micah Parsons
  • No. 24 overall: Jacksonville Jaguars to Cleveland Browns - Browns received pick along with 2025 first-, second- and fourth-round picks in exchange for 2025 first-, fourth- and sixth-round picks
  • No. 29 overall: Los Angeles Rams to Kansas City Chiefs - Chiefs received first-, fifth- and sixth-round picks (29th, 169th and 210th overall), and a 2027 third-round pick in exchange for CB Trent McDuffie.
  • No. 30 overall: Denver Broncos to Miami Dolphins - Dolphins received pick along with third- and fourth-round picks (30th, 94th and 130th overall) in exchange for 111th overall pick and WR Jaylen Waddle

The trades will leave six NFL teams without a first-round pick, and that's assuming no other trades take place between now and then.
