Fresno Freeze lose season finale, miss playoffs
Fresno Freeze FC suffered a devastating blow Sunday, losing 2-1 at West Coast Wildcatz to just miss a Pacific-North Division title.
The Freeze finished their first season in the Women’s Premier Soccer League with an 8-3-1 record and second in their division, two points behind champion Tottenham Hotspur East Bay Ladies. East Bay Ladies won 2-1 over North Bay FC Wave to improve to 9-3-0 and make the playoffs.
