Cough up some cash, Kaepernick
The problem with San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick staying seated during the national anthem is that he hasn’t said what precise, observable, definable and presumably permanent changes he is looking for in American society.
Nor has he identified the bad guys. Are they cops? Are they politicians? Are they everyone who isn’t black?
Yes, damn those Asians who are getting all the top-paying jobs! Are they all the people who prefer to live where gunfire doesn’t nightly shatter the night time quiet?
What exactly does Mr. Kaepernick want from America, and what part of his $17 million contract will he devote to that effort?
