Kaepernick is disrespectful ‘nimrod’ on the bench

I love our country, our flag and our national anthem. They symbolize all of the people past and present that have fought and continue fighting for our freedom. They deserve our respect.

Part of the history of our country is to fight oppression, but we are not perfect. Yet, the freedoms of this imperfect country allow some nimrod to sit on the bench and disrespect our flag and anthem because some people don’t measure up. I find that obnoxious rather than worthy of some noble stand for victims.

Might I suggest Colin Kaepernick project some positive influence, to focus on the contributing factors of his dissatisfaction rather than painting the entire nation with the brush of a few.

Because that is just what he seems to accuse the nation of doing. Knowing something about not being perfect, Mr. Kaepernick should understand that.
