I got great care at Community
On the afternoon of May 26, I fell over 20 feet from a tree. The evaluation at Sierra Vista Hospital in San Luis Obispo put me on a helicopter to Community Regional Medical Center.
I tried repeatedly to get the names of the people I encountered to give my thanks, but finally was told “there is no need, this is what we do.” I have so many memories of care that was both competent and given with a sincere heart. A culture is apparent in that I was being cared for by people who understood how important their contribution to my recovery was.
I am so grateful that the administration is making sure that this standard is maintained. I would like to give a special thanks to the everyone involved in the food that was provided. Unbelievable! Eating well is such an important part of making a recovery. It fits so perfectly with the care I received that the food was so good. Remarkable achievement.
To every single person I encountered at Community Regional, I am holding your hand, looking in your eyes, and saying “Thank you.”
