Caltrans: Don’t make me take out my clippers on Highway 41
Caltrans: attention, please! The highway mileage sign along northbound Highway 41 next to the wall bordering Woodward Park is almost out of sight. Why would Caltrans plant a bush or tree right in front of a sign so we can’t read the words?
In fact, why does it plant any bushes or trees in a drought area that it does not take care of at all – no watering like along Highway 41, north of Fresno? It is throwing away taxpayer dollars. Just put in wood chips or concrete.
Well, here’s the deal. I’m taking my clippers out to trim back those bushes in front of that sign so Yosemite National Park travelers can read it. If I get ticketed or injured, I’m blaming Caltrans.
