Arrogant Hoover jaywalker should be prosecuted
The outstanding article in The Bee “How about obeying officers’ commands?” by Bill McEwen was on target.
Jay walking means to walk across the street without obeying traffic rules and signals. This officer was trying to keep students and pedestrians safe in school zone. This arrogant Hoover High student breaks the law, putting him and other students in jeopardy of serious injury.
Thanks to the officer for doing his job. This student and friend, using language not taught in Sunday school, hollers “Black Lives Matter.” What does this have to do with jay walking and breaking the law?
Thank God no one was hurt. I pray the police, school and courts will prosecute this matter. The police did their job, now the school and parents have to do theirs, even if it means kicking this student out of school.
