Enjoy Fresno’s Salisha Thomas in ‘Beautiful’
Thank you to Donald Munro for his fine article profiling the Mueller sisters in “Beautiful: The Carole King Musical” (Aug. 8). After seeing this wonderful musical featuring Abby Mueller this past weekend in San Francisco, I realized we have a local connection with cast member Salisha Thomas, who plays several roles in “Beautiful.”
Salisha is from Fresno and attended Fresno schools, culminating in her being Bullard High School’s student body president and homecoming queen during her senior year.
Salisha will be our guest and keynote speaker at Bullard TALENT School’s #BT Parade on Sept. 23 and we are excited to celebrate her success with our students. She is truly a winner!
I strongly encourage everyone to take in “Beautiful” at the Orpheum Theatre through mid-September, and enjoy the great music, well-crafted storyline and outstanding acting by the cast, including Salisha.
