Want action? Jump over heads of incompetent county employees
I’m amazed following the water problem in Northeast Fresno, in that no other officials were involved. I have had dealings with both the city and county of Fresno and if I never got to first base with my initial contact, I climbed directly to the top.
I’ve visited City Hall with paperwork in hand and sat in different departments until I got someone to handle a situation that went on way too long. Not too long ago, I had a problem with the county code enforcement department that became a nuisance. After much time, I was again contacted, so I called the director himself and within one day, it was finally put to bed.
But the incompetence on the lower level was very trying. Email today makes things easier and it should look official and by all means, it’s head scratching that these homeowners had contact with just one person and via a cell phone at that.
Really? I don’t think they’re that ignorant to just accept bottled water and just chalk it up or accept a rebate for repairs that ruined their water supply – which might not smell, but hey, something here sure does.
