Give Madera County high-speed rail maintenance facility
California’s high-speed rail project has the potential to bring significant economic opportunities to the Valley, but as we all know, time is money. In Madera County, we have a solution that will save time and money.
Locating the High-Speed Rail Authority’s heavy maintenance facility in Madera County is the cheaper, smarter, faster option that will not only provide 1,500 local jobs but also reduce costs by streamlining the land-acquisition process.
Madera County offers centrally located, single-parcel sites with the necessary infrastructure already in place to support the facility. These critical factors mean that our sites will not only be cost-effective during the facility’s construction, but throughout the entire life of high-speed rail project.
Let’s look toward the future and create a transportation system that is effective and beneficial for our region and the entire state.
