Dylan Noble shooting ‘tragic’ but ‘unavoidable’
The shooting of Dylan Noble was tragic but, in my opinion, unavoidable. Police officers in this day and age have an incredibly difficult job. They not only have to keep the peace in our cities, but while they’re out there doing so, they’re also putting their lives are on the line every minute of every day.
They have to make life-and-death decisions in fractions of a second and react to situations in the same time frame. We expect policemen and women to have ESP or carry crystal balls around in their squad cars so they know ahead of time how a situation is going to play out.
If you’re stopped by the police and they ask you to do something, you need to listen to them and do it. Otherwise how do they know that you’re not a threat or possibly hiding a weapon? The answer is they don’t. How could they? Please give those who try and keep our cities and streets safe the respect they deserve.
