Obama loves U.S., serves with integrity
I found the letter from Jon Schwabenland of Clovis on Aug. 11 to be quite upsetting. How does he “know” President Obama does not love his country? He certainly has the right to express his opinion, as long as he acknowledges that this is only his opinion. He may believe President Obama does not love his country, but I believe he does.
I believe President Obama has great integrity and has done a good job despite working with a Congress that pledged to block him at every turn. Perhaps, as columnist Leonard Pitts writes, “the truth will set us free,” but first we need to know the truth and “that part is easier said than done!”
