Trump’s dark financial history
I am responding to the letter (Aug. 5) regarding Donald Trump being the only candidate to get us out of debt.
The writer needs to read the many articles recently in Newsweek about all the failed business deals Trump has been part of. He had multiple bankruptcies and forced others into bankruptcy by not paying them what he contractually agreed to.
While having a businessperson for president may not be a bad idea, it should be a successful one like Warren Buffett or Bill Gates. You can not just declare bankruptcy as a nation. If you research Trump and his mistakes, you will not vote for him. He is not an expert, as Don Meacham declared.
