Will Valley water soon tap out?

Headlines are taking the focus off local issues and actions that could have dire consequences for the Central Valley. There is an underlying current among our own politicians who feel our water situation will not improve until water stops coming out of the tap in your house!

Some of us are trying to avoid that disaster every single day, and for some, it has already happened. The blatant mismanagement of water in our state should carry heavy consequences in the voting booth. We need the media to tell the truth, and we need action.

California spends its resources to suggest drought-tolerant plants and low-flow toilets in our homes, while the federal government continues its efforts on fish restoration in several bodies of water throughout the state.

They have accomplished nothing while they waste millions of acre-feet of water to the ocean every single year. The supporters of our one-party rule in California shy away from political talk and partisan issues. They will tell us it is not a partisan issue until the day our tap water stops and every acre of food and fiber is gone.

Get involved. Find the truth for yourself.
