Thanks for no help with my yellow water, Lee Brand
I, too, have yellow water. As a widow, I deal with all my household issues. I called the city for help. After several calls and getting nothing, I felt totally ignored. A few years ago, I had enough. During the drought, I had to run my faucets for 30 minutes to get clear water. I even had yellow ice cubes.
So, I turned to Council Member Lee Brand. After several calls and once again given the cold shoulder, I was told to just turn my water on and let it run. The city couldn’t do anything about “my” problem. I’m an 84-year-old, independent woman. I turned to the person I thought had an interest in life quality in his district. It’s disappointing and frustrating, nothing was done.
I noticed sometimes, the yellow was slightly lighter, so I thought something was being done. I filled out the online survey, still no word or postcard, as City Manager Bruce Rudd mentioned in council meetings. I hope voices are now heard. If we were listened to years ago, I wouldn’t be looking into “loans” to fix the city’s mistake and would have clear water in the 21st century. Thanks for nothing, Fresno and Brand.
