Candidates: Stop ‘playing us for fools’

Enough already! We, the people of this great country, have had it with the media as well as the childish rhetoric of both political parties. Democrats and Republicans have made a mockery of our democracy for their own gain.

President Obama has joined the circus bandwagon as well, spewing his political jargon while attempting to sway public opinion to think the way he does without looking at his own track record before calling someone else “unfit” to be president.

The latest campaign game of “cat and mouse” has Democrats baiting the Trump trap and gleefully watching Trump jump into it while the media spins this fiasco into must-see reality TV! We have grown weary of the trash-talking, name-calling and finger-pointing from the candidates as they pull at our heart-strings by using people for their own advantage.

It’s time for Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump to end their verbal mud-slinging and talk about what matters most to everyone: their plans for the economy, education, health care and ISIS. They must also address the importance of bringing about peace, equality, understanding and unity to heal this nation of racial prejudice and religious divide. Hillary and Donald, grow up and stop playing us for fools!
