Somebody, please, clean up 41

Thank you, Susie Steffen (letter July 22) and Jim and Sandy Thompson (letter July 27), for comments regarding the 41 freeway running through Fresno.

Last week my daughter and I were appalled while driving south through town on 41. We were embarrassed by what we we saw along this stretch of highway. It had the tallest weeds anywhere – from Fresno all the way to Los Angeles. Litter and weeds line both sides of 41 and onto Freeway 99. We thought about all the summer visitors to our hometown and what their opinions would be of our Fresno.

Whoever can motivate the clean-up of this mess, please get it done.
