Show more pride in Pinedale
When I moved into the Pinedale area over 26 years ago, residents managed to get their purchases home without the use of shopping carts. With the coming of the big-box stores, some people are using their low-income status as an excuse to steal shopping carts, then dumping them on the streets.
A couple of years ago, some enterprising individuals came up with the idea of filling shopping carts with their household garbage and yard waste before dumping them on the streets and on nearby business properties.
These people are embarrassments to their neighbors and the Pinedale community.
