I will take Trump over Clinton
I grew up in a family of proud Democrats. My grandfather, A.S.J. Shaw, served as an elected official in Oklahoma for 40 years. A large newspaper endorsed this Democrat politician with these words: “Above all things, there stands revealed the high honor and the clean Christian character of A.S.J. Shaw. What shall Oklahoma do with this man? Let the stainless life of A.S.J. Shaw as a father and a homemaker answer, his sacrificial service to his state as a teacher, businessman, and in the ranks of the Democratic party speak in his favor.”
It deeply saddens me that the Democratic Party’s presidential candidate clearly lacks the “high honor,” the “clean Christian character,” and the “stainless life” we desperately need in all elected officials and particularly the next president.
So what shall we do with Hillary Clinton?
While I am not a supporter of Donald J. Trump, I really have no other choice but to vote for him. I cannot, with a clear conscience, support the Democrat presidential candidate who has repeatedly shown she does not possess the character, honesty and trust we desperately need in a president.
