Obama’s ridiculous comment in Dallas

In his remarks during the Dallas memorial service for the murdered policemen, President Obama made many comments that were not appropriate. One of them was that “It is easier for a teenager to buy a Glock (handgun) than get his hands on a computer or even a book.”

I submit that if a teenager has a Glock, he did not buy it; chances are much higher that he stole this gun. As for getting a computer or a book, a teenager can access a library to use a computer or borrow a book. There also are many organizations that will provide these items to teenagers free of charge. So please do not blame society for the fact that a teen has a gun instead of a computer or book!

There are many excuses for unlawful behavior when one should look to the perpetrator’s actions instead!
