Take Libertarian wrecking ball to two-party system
Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton? What if I said it doesn’t matter, because nothing will change?
If we continually settle for the garbage shoveled out by our two-party system, don’t expect any change. Republican or Democrat, it doesn’t matter. Both parties are controlled by lobbyists and special-interest groups financed by the wealthiest 1 percent. By making politics about money instead of issues, they’ve eliminated all competition.
They invest billions in political campaigns and lobbying to get what they want; money is all they care about. It’s time to reject the two-party system and the corruption it entails. We’re told a vote for any third party is a wasted vote. That’s because a third party is a threat to the system they’ve set up. The time has come to take a wrecking ball to that system.
We have to get the government working for ordinary people again. There is an opportunity in this election to redefine the role of government. I urge all voters to reject politics as usual and vote for Libertarian Gary Johnson. It’s time for a fresh approach and new ideas.
