Capitol makeover puts lipstick on a pig
The Supreme Court has weighed in on part of President Obama’s immigration policy with a 4-4 decision. This split was caused because Congressional Republicans refuse to meet or confirm the president’s nominee for the ninth justice.
Now we have Democrats having a sit-in on the floor of Congress because Republicans refuse to pass a common-sense gun bill. This comes as the Capitol building is being given a major makeover. Maybe we should have started the makeover on the inside. Wow, talk about putting lipstick on a pig!
