‘Real treat:’Harvey Mackay’s Bee column

If people who receive The Fresno Bee aren’t reading the articles written by Harvey Mackay, which appear every Monday, they are missing a real treat. This gentleman is a businessman who runs his business on respect, kindness and fairness for his fellow human beings.

I wrote to him a few years back, and he wrote me back, with a copy of his latest book he had written. I was overwhelmed that he did this, and wouldn’t miss reading his articles for anything. I copy many and send them to my children and grandchildren who live in different states.

The article he wrote about kindness, published June 27, prompted me to write this letter to The Bee. If everyone would live daily by the standards he set forth for himself, this world would be a much better place.
