Trump embarrasses me, a Republican

I’m a 70-year-old Vietnam veteran and lifelong Republican.

I would be embarrassed to have anyone know my political party. Trump is a shame to all of us. He has used a tragedy for his own blowhard enrichment. Friends and neighbors, I beg you to reconsider any support for this buffoon.

I never thought I would support a Democrat except I always vote for Rep. Jim Costa, but I am voting for Hillary Clinton this time around. I have grandsons whom I don’t want to see die in a war that Trump’s mouth would surely cause. Please save our sons and daughters from certain death.

If you can’t bring yourself to vote for Hillary, then just leave it as blank as Trump’s head is. I am also sure that the Zika virus has been around for at least 40 years, how else can we explain all these people cheering for Trump or maybe the zombie virus is secretly here and the government isn’t telling us. Just sign me “angry old white guy.”
