Let’s restore Fresno pride
The trash situation in Fresno is worse than embarrassing – it’s despicable and inexcusable. I remember a day when we wouldn’t even think about throwing a gum wrapper out the car window.
Just today I took two neighborhood walks and picked up two full bags of trash. Coffee cups, soda cups, chip bags, plastic bottles, cans, papers – ugh. And I didn’t even pick it all up. It’s disgusting.
The city should get those locked-up jailbirds, take them out and have them clean up the city as a way to give back to the community. Also, make a rule, people – if you walk by it, pick it up, please! Let’s take back some pride in our city and clean it up.
