Arax’s vendetta against Fresno Unified
The vendetta that Mark Arax has against Fresno Unified is raging again. Arax’s claim that a Bullard High graduate whose essay he edited should have given the valedictorian address rather than another student is clearly prejudiced. Has he read the other essays that were submitted to the speaker committee or had access to what committee members were thinking?
If the “old family friend” whom he cites as “a third son” makes an official allegation of cheating by teachers at Bullard, this should be investigated and punishment meted out as warranted.
A previous tirade from Arax occurred during the initial furor over Fresno Unified’s bidding procedure. That demonstrated how Arax attempts to intimidate people, because he tried to do it to me . When I didn’t succumb to his demand to join his attack, he proceeded to tackle the local League of Women Voters. When that didn’t work he had the temerity to demand action from the California League of Women Voters, who neither had knowledge of the situation nor control over the local league. Their astonished reaction was, “What’s wrong with him?”
